“I warmly welcome all junior journalists here today and also thank Madam Wei for creating such a wonderful opportunity for you to come to the Tajikistan embassy in China. I am very pleased to meet all of you, the lovely junior journalists......” The Tajikistan Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Parviz Davlatzoda delivered a warm welcome speech to the Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation in the morning of January 30th in the Tajikistan embassy.
达夫拉特佐达大使首先介绍塔吉克斯坦国家的情况及中塔两国的青年交流情况。他说，中塔两国的历史源远流长，曾经在2000多年前就有很多中塔之间的友好往来，在去年中塔建交25周年之际，我们举办了一系列的活动，两国元首互访也非常密切，我们一直以来视中国为兄弟友邦。
Ambassador Davlatzoda first made a brief introduction about Tajikistan and the current exchange programs of young people between China and Tajikistan. He said that China and Tajikistan have a long history and have had many friendly exchanges since more than 2,000 years ago. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Tajikistan last year, we held a series of activities, and the exchange visits between heads of state of the two countries made us very close through many connections. We have always regarded China as our fraternal friend.
小记者问: “你好大使阁下，2017年9月1日，塔吉克斯坦总统埃莫马利•拉赫蒙访问清华大学，发表了题为“塔中合作新视野：扩大教育科学的合作”的主题演讲。拉赫蒙总统强调：’我们历来重视深化同中国在教育领域的合作，并将此视为两国关系的重要方向之一。’ 请问：2018年中塔两国在教育领域有哪些合作？如果我们选择到塔吉克斯坦留学，政府会给哪些支持？谢谢！”
A junior journalist asked: “Hello Ambassador! On September 1, 2017, Tajikistan President Emomali Rakhmon visited Tsinghua University and delivered a keynote speech entitled “Tajikistan-China: Implementing New Opportunities Toward Broader Cooperation on Science and Education”. President Rakhmon stressed: ‘We have always attached great importance to deepening our cooperation in education with China and positioned this as one of the important directions for the relations between our two countries.’ We would like to know that what are the major cooperation projects between China and Tajikistan in education in 2018? If we choose to study in Tajikistan, what support will the government provide to us? Thank you!”
大使说，首先非常感谢你的问题，去年我国总统到中国进行了国事访问，到了清华大学演讲并被授予清华大学的荣誉教授。从去年开始，我们就有意巩固和深化在教育领域方面的合作，当然我们也非常地欢迎能够有中国的学生来到塔吉克斯坦学习。但是来到一个国家学习，需要对这个国家的语言有一定的认识，我们也在积极地努力安排一些塔吉克斯坦的老师来到中国教塔吉克语，让中国学生先在这样的中心进行一些语言的学习，使得他们在塔吉克斯坦的学习之路更加容易。塔吉克斯坦政府会在学费费用给予考虑，来到塔吉克斯坦学习你们的经济压力并不会很大。
Ambassador Davlatzoda said first of all thank you very much for your question. Last year, our president paid a state visit to China and delivered a speech to Tsinghua University. He was also awarded as “Honorary Professor” by Tsinghua University. Since last year, we have deliberately consolidated and deepened our cooperation in the field of education. Of course, we also greatly welcome Chinese students come to study in Tajikistan. However, before going to a country for study, it requires certain level of understanding about that country’s language. We are also actively trying to arrange some Tajik teachers to come to China to teach Tajik language here so that Chinese students can learn some Tajik language first. This will make it easier for them to study in Tajikistan later. The Tajik government will consider the cost of international student’s tuition fees. Coming to Tajikistan for study won’t be a huge financial pressure for you.
“你好大使阁下，您是毕业于俄罗斯外交学院，并担任塔吉克斯坦外交部副部长、上海合作组织副秘书等多个职位。2016年5月17日你向中国国家主席习近平递交国书，成为塔吉克斯坦共和国驻华大使，可见您是一位出色的外交官和政治家。请问：您将如何运用你的智慧和力量推动中塔两国青少年的交流与合作？谢谢！” 小记者问。
“Hello Ambassador! You graduated from the Russia Foreign Affairs University and served several positions including the Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan and Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. May 17th, 2016, you presented your credentials to Chinese President Xi Jinping and became the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to China. We can see that you are an outstanding diplomat and experienced politician. How will you use your wisdom and efforts to promote the youth exchange and cooperation between China and Tajikistan? Thank you!” another junior journalist asked.
“感谢你的问题，大使首先要保证能够在政治和经济层面上来深化推动和发展两国的关系，首先是通过两国的元首、各部部长的会见，各个方面的代表在不断交流来推动两国的发展。”
“Thank you for your question. Firstly, the ambassador must pledge to deepen the promotion and development of the relations between the two countries politically and economically. It can be done through the meetings between heads of state, ministers of the two countries as well as the representatives from all sectors, they can constantly push forward the cooperation development between the two countries.”
在17年时间，两国元首分别会见了三次。今年的6月我们会举行上海经合组织的元首峰会，在峰会上两国领导人有机会再次会面。10月，在塔吉克斯坦我们会举办上海经合组织的一系列活动，届时李克强也会来访塔吉克与我国总统会见。通过各种平台和一系列会见，来推动两国的发展，这就是大使所要关注的一些工作。
In the past 17 years, the heads of state of the two countries met three times. During the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in last June, in which the leaders of the two countries had another opportunity to meet again. In this October, we will organize a series of activities related to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tajikistan, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will visit Tajikistan to meet with our president. To promote the relationship development between the two countries through various platforms and a series of meetings, this is the key work mandates for the ambassador to further stress on.
塔吉克斯坦另外一个任务是和其他国家实行“水外交”，通过此为今后的人类提供安全可靠的水资源。
Another diplomatic task of Tajikistan is to implement "water diplomacy" with other countries so that we can provide safe and reliable water resources for the future generations.

“塔吉克斯坦的文化也是非常丰富多彩的，现在的塔吉克斯坦的总人口在800万左右，但在中国有塔吉克族，在周边国家也有塔吉克族。早在9世纪的时候，塔吉克民族就建立了自己的第一个王朝，从此以后塔吉克民族就与世界上的其他民族在不断地互动，我们非常热爱世界各地的塔吉克族，也希望他们能多学习我国的文化。与此同时塔吉克民族也是一个有建设性的民族，他无论走到哪里都在不断地建设，不断地改善自己的环境，交流经验。我们也非常地希望改善人民群众的生活水平，能够让后代生活地更好。当然这些都是期望，真正促使这些完成的是在座的你们这些青少年，会使中塔友谊更好的发展。希望在座的小记者多学习彼此的文化。
“Tajikistan's culture is also very rich and colorful, and Tajikistan now has a total population about 8 million. There is Tajik ethnic group in China, and Tajik people also live in neighboring countries. As early as the 9th century, the Tajik nation established its own kingdom. Since then, the Tajik nation has been interacting with other nations in the world. We love Tajiks all over the world, and we hope that they will learn more about our country's culture. At the same time, the Tajik culture is born with constructive thinking, no matter where Tajik people go, they would constantly build and improve the living environment and exchange their experiences. We really work hard to improve people's standard of living so that future generations will enjoy a better life. Of course, this is just our expectation. The great future achievement must be built with the young people like you. We will continue to develop the China and Tajikistan’s friendship. 在活动现场，小记者们纷纷亮出自己的拿手绝活，采访结束后开始了精彩纷呈的节目表演，值得一提的是，大使阁下还为小记者准备了丰盛的茶点，这些丰盛的食物让我们深深地感受到大使对于我们小记者一行的浓浓情意。作为青少年的我们，希望能为推动中塔两国的友好关系贡献一份自己的力量。
At the end of the interview, the junior journalists delivered some amazing performances with their unique skills.
