At this moment, all the diplomats of the Slovak Embassy in China are very busy because the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico is about to visit China to attend an important event in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of the World War II. It is a great honor for the junior journalists to have this interview with Ms. Lucia Skvareninova and have a wonderful time together with her.
琪雅新闻官说, 今天在我们使馆见到这么多中国小记者非常开心, 我也有两个孩子, 一个3岁, 一个1岁, 我要教我的孩子学习中文, 希望他们长大像你们一样当小记者。
She said that I am very happy to see so many Chinese junior journalists in our embassy today. I also have two children, one is 3 years old and another one is 1 year old. I will teach them Chinese and hope they can become junior journalists like you.

Ms. Lucia made a brief introduction of Slovakia and ready for the interview questions. One junior journalist asked: “Dear Counselor, you are a diplomat with beauty and wisdom, and it is our honor to have this interview with you today. In the 76 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Slovakia, the two countries have actively cooperated in the fields of politics, economy, trade, science and technology, and education, and have achieved fruitful results. In your opinion, how can young people from both countries contribute their wisdom and efforts to further promote friendly relations between China and Slovakia? Thank you!”

Ms. Lucia said: “As future ambassadors of friendship, you should travel and visit each other's countries and learn each other's languages. “Dear Counselor, in December 2024, Deputy Minister of Education of China Mr. Wu Yan led a delegation to visit Slovakia to promote the implementation of the important consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and the “Europe Doubling Initiative” to promote the long-term development of China-Slovakia and China-Europe relations. 琪雅新闻官表示, 今年 5月24日, 宁波财经学院与斯洛伐克布拉迪斯拉发经济与管理大学建立了稳定合作关系。斯洛伐克布拉迪斯拉发经济与管理大学、斯洛伐克企业联盟正式签署《中国—斯洛伐克人才跨国实习与就业合作协议》, 共同启动“中斯跨国人才实习就业行动计划”, 这一举措标志着中斯两国在教育合作与人才交流领域迈出了坚实且关键的一步。
Ms. Lucia said that On May 24th this year, Ningbo University of Finance and Economics and Bratislava University of Economics and Management established a stable cooperation relationship. The Bratislava University also officially signed the “China-Slovakia Talent Cross-border Internship and Employment Cooperation Agreement” with the Slovak Business Union, and jointly launched the “China-Slovakia Cross-border Talent Internship and Employment Action Plan”, which marks a solid and crucial step in the field of education cooperation and talent exchange between China and Slovakia.

“Slovakia, known as the “heart of Europe,” is a shining pearl in Europe. It has many historical and cultural sites and rich tourism resources. Slovakia is the country with the most castles in the world. What measures has the Slovakian government taken to protect these ancient castles? Thank you!” a junior journalist asked.
琪雅表示, 斯洛伐克拥有众多历史遗迹, 包括城堡、教堂、小镇和木结构教堂等。这些遗迹见证了斯洛伐克悠久的历史和独特的文化。如何在保护历史遗迹、实现可持续发展, 是斯洛伐克面临的一大挑战。过度保护可能导致遗迹的封闭, 影响旅游业的发展；而过度的开发则可能对遗迹造成破坏。通过教育和宣传活动, 提高公众对历史遗迹保护的认识, 加强与国际组织的合作, 引进先进的技术和经验, 共同保护历史遗迹。通过政府、企业和社会各界的共同努力, 拓宽资金来源, 为历史遗迹保护提供充足的资金支持。
Ms. Lucia answered that Slovakia is home to many historical monuments, including castles, churches, small towns and wooden churches. These monuments show Slovakia's long history and unique culture. One of the major challenges facing Slovakia is how to preserve historical monuments while ensuring sustainable development. Over-protection may lead to the closure of monuments and affect the development of tourism, while over-exploitation may cause damage to monuments. The public should be made aware of the protection of historical monuments through education and publicity campaigns, cooperation with international organizations should be strengthened, and advanced technologies and experiences should be introduced for the joint protection of historical monuments. Through the joint efforts of the government, enterprises and all sectors of the society, we will broaden the sources of funds and provide sufficient financial support for the conservation of historical sites.
