2025年8月4日, 中外新闻社在北京二十一世纪饭店一楼宴会厅举行“见证友谊--中外新闻社2025暑期访问外国驻华使馆小记者（小小外交官）团”开团仪式。外交部原副部长助理马德强先生, 塞尔维亚国家资深外交官卡尔罗•科拉茨先生、联合国国际合作协调局副局长兼新闻部部长、中外新闻社总裁韦燕, 中外新闻社执行社长刘登臣, 中外新闻社常务副总编辑胡树萌、中外新闻社副总裁张珈闻等领导出席。来自北京、广东、上海、广西、河北等十多名小记者经过“海选”参加中外新闻社小记者团。
August 4, 2025, the Opening Ceremony of “Witness Friendship” 2025 Summer Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation was held in the banquet hall of Beijing 21st Century Hotel. Former Assistant to Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Ma Deqiang, Senior Diplomat of Serbia Mr. Carlo Kratz, Deputy Director of the UN International Collaboration and Coordination Agency and President of Home and Abroad News Press Ms. Wei Yan, Deputy Director Mr. Liu Dengchen, Editor-in-Chief Mr. Hu Shumeng, Vice President Mr. Alan Zhang attended the event. More than 10 junior journalists from Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai, Guangxi and Hebei joined this Junior Journalist Delegation after the audition this year.

Vice President Mr. Alan Zhang introduced the countries to be covered by the interview series and provided practical training on diplomatic etiquettes, interviewing skills, and news article writing skills.
会上, 每一位小记者用全英文做了自我介绍。之后, 中外新闻社总裁韦燕宣布“见证友谊--中外新闻社2025暑期访问外国驻华使馆小记者团”团长由广东海洋大学学生谭雅之担任, 副团长由中国人民大学附属小学学生周润泽担任。
At the training session, each junior journalist made a self-introduction in English. Then, Ms. Wei Yan announced that the Head of “Witness Friendship” 2025 Summer Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation to be Tan Yazhi, a student from Guangdong Ocean University, and the Deputy Head to be Zhou Runze, a student from Renmin University of China Affiliated Primary School.

The junior journalists made speeches at the ceremony, they were excited and thrilled to have the opportunity to have close dialogues with senior foreign diplomats in China, and they expressed that they would cherish the opportunity to learn about the culture and education of different countries, to feel the wisdom, warmth and friendliness of diplomats of different countries, to learn the diplomacy temperaments, and to improve their English proficiency.
