On the afternoon of August 4th, “Witness Friendship” 2025 Summer Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalists visited the Pakistani Embassy in China, the Deputy Head of Mission of Pakistan in China, Mr. Bilal Mahmood accepted our interview.
小记者进入使馆, 受到巴基斯坦驻华大使馆新闻公使曼苏尔·阿里·梅蒙先生欢迎。他说, 非常欢迎“见证友谊” --中国中外新闻社小记者2025暑期采访团到巴基斯坦驻华大使馆采访, 巴基斯坦作为中国唯一的“全天候”战略合作伙伴, 建交74年来, 中巴关系经受住了国际风云变幻的严峻考验, 坚如磐石, 牢不可破。中巴两国青少年是促进国与国之间友好的使者, 青少年之间的文化交流是联结两国友谊的纽带, 将进一步促进中巴两国民心相通。
The junior journalists entered the embassy and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Mansur Ali Memon, the Press Attaché of the Pakistani Embassy in China. He said, “We warmly welcome the “Witness Friendship” 2025 Summer Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalists to the Pakistani Embassy in China. As China's only ‘all-weather’ strategic partner, Pakistan has stood the test of time over the past 74 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, with China-Pakistan relations remaining as solid as a rock and unbreakable.” The youth of China and Pakistan are friendship messengers between the two countries, and cultural exchanges among young people further promote mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and Pakistan.
下午16:20, 巴基斯坦驻华副大使比拉尔·马哈默德先生进入采访会场, 同中外新闻社总裁韦燕、副总裁张珈闻友好交流。我们小记者一一向他全英文自我介绍, 他听了之后赞扬这群优秀中国儿童。
At 4:20 p.m., Deputy Head of Mission of Pakistan to China, entered the conference hall and had a friendly exchange with Ms. Wei Yan, President of Home and Abroad News Press and Vice President Mr. Alan Zhang. Mr. Bilal Mahmood showed the junior journalists promotional videos about Pakistan, featuring Pakistani culture, cuisine, music, dance, and tourist attractions, giving the junior journalists a deeper understanding of Pakistan. Mr. Bilal Mahmood praised the solid friendship between the Chinese and Pakistani peoples and sang the praises of the “higher than mountains, deeper than the sea, sweeter than honey” friendship between China and Pakistan.

比拉尔·马哈默德谈到, 近年来中巴两国在教育、科技等领域开展合作越来越深入。巴基斯坦的教育水平较低, 而中国在这方面有着丰富的经验和优秀的教育资源。因此, 中巴两国可以加强人员交流、教育培训等方面的合作, 提高巴基斯坦的教育水平和科技实力。
Mr. Bilal Mahmood said that in recent years, China and Pakistan have been deepening their cooperation in areas such as education and science and technology. Pakistan's education level is relatively low, while China has rich experience and excellent educational resources in this field. Therefore, China and Pakistan can strengthen cooperation in areas such as personnel exchanges and educational training to improve Pakistan's education level and scientific and technological capabilities.
除此之外, 中巴两国在环保、能源、农业等领域开展合作, 共同推进两国和地区的可持续发展。在未来的几年里面, 我们也会看到两国之间的留学生数量会得到提升。
In addition, China and Pakistan are cooperating in areas such as environmental protection, energy, and agriculture to jointly promote sustainable development in both countries and the region. In the coming years, we will also see an increase in the number of students studying abroad between the two countries.
近日, 中国使用长征系列运载火箭, 将巴基斯坦遥感卫星01星送入太空。这颗卫星具备高分辨率遥感能力, 能够为巴基斯坦提供国土普查、防灾减灾、资源管理等重要数据支持。这颗卫星的发射不仅是中巴航天合作的又一里程碑, 更是两国友谊的象征。比拉尔·马哈默德谈到, 巴基斯坦同中国“巴铁”, 卫星成功送入太空, “巴铁”从地上到天上, 为中巴友谊点赞。
Recently, China used a Long March series carrier rocket to launch Pakistan's Remote Sensing Satellite 01 into space. This satellite is equipped with high-resolution remote sensing capabilities and can provide Pakistan with important data support for national land surveys, disaster prevention and mitigation, and resource management. The launch of this satellite is not only another milestone in China-Pakistan space cooperation but also a symbol of the friendship between the two countries. He also noted that Pakistan and China are “brothers,” and the successful launch of the satellite into space signifies that the “brothers” have expanded their partnership from the ground to the sky, further strengthening the friendship between China and Pakistan.
比拉尔·马哈默德还有趣的谈到, 每一年的世界数澳比赛都是在英国举行, 每一次比赛第一名都是来自中国的选手, 但是今年的数澳大赛美国拿了第一名, 中国第二名, 正当会场各国选手议论时, 才了解到, 美国参赛的选手大部分是华人。
Mr. Bilal Mahmood also mentioned that every year, the World Math Olympiad is held in the United Kingdom, and every time China has been the first prize winner. However, this year, the United States took first place and China took second place. Just as the competitors from various countries were discussing this, they learned that most of the American participants were actually Chinese.

Both sides discussed many topics, including China-Pakistan friendly cooperation. As a Pakistani diplomat in China, please share your impressions of China. Thank you!” another junior journalist asked.
比拉尔·马哈默德表示, 中国经济稳健增长、科技创新成果显著、国际合作持续深化, 为世界发展带来了信心和机遇。他高度评价中国在人工智能、电动汽车等领域的创新, 尤其是DeepSeek等技术成果, 认为现代化产业和新质生产力能够释放巨大的发展潜力。
Mr. Bilal Mahmood stated that China's steady economic growth, significant achievements in scientific and technological innovation, and deepening international cooperation have brought confidence and opportunities to global development. He highly praised China's innovations in fields such as AI and electric vehicles, particularly technological achievements like “DeepSeek” and believes that modern industries and new productive forces can unlock immense development potentials.
比拉尔·马哈默德表示, 希望中外新闻社组织小记者团或者企业投资者到巴基斯坦, 巴基斯坦一定不会令你们失望, 中国和巴基斯坦是风雨同舟、荣辱与共的全天候战略合作伙伴。
Mr. Bilal Mahmood said he hoped that Home and Abroad News Press could organize junior journalists or corporate investors to visit Pakistan, and Pakistan would not disappoint them. He added that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners in any difficulties and obstacles.

After the interview, each junior journalist presented the gifts from their hometowns and calligraphy works to Mr. Bilal Mahmood. He enthusiastically invited all the junior journalists to taste Pakistani cuisine. They all expressed: The youth of China and Pakistan will certainly become the new generation of “Iron Brothers.”
