Armenia is a republic country in the Transcaucasian region between Asia and Europe. The Armenian Ambassador to China, H.E. 小记者问：“大使阁下您好！我们小记者有机会采访您很高兴。在您担任亚美尼亚外交部副外长时, 就分管亚洲事务, 2016年5月17日在北京人民大会堂您向中国国家主席习近平递交国书那一刻起，你已经成为中国人民可贵的朋友，你认为：我们青少年应该如何接过“接力棒”传承中亚两国的友谊?谢谢！”
A junior journalist asked: “Hello, Mr. Ambassador. It’s our honor to have this interview opportunity with you. When you were the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, you were in charge of Asian affairs. On May 17th, 2016, you submitted your credential to the Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, you have become an important friend of the Chinese people. In your opinion, how should we carry on China and Armenia’s traditional friendship as teenagers and youth? Thank you!”
“首先，我们非常高兴你们能来亚美尼亚大使馆采访。在来到中国之前，我在亚美尼亚国家也是负责亚洲事务，当然也包含中国的事务。2016年5月17日在北京人民大会堂向习近平主席递交国书的时候，那是非常难忘的日子，我的责任和义务就是要把我们的两国友好的、积极的、坚实的基础打好，然后传递给你们下一代，作为未来的友好使者，你们更应该努力学习中亚两国乃至全世界的文化历史，接过接力棒，与时俱进，开辟外交新天地。”大使谈到。
“First of all, we are very happy to see you all coming to the Armenian Embassy for the interview. Before coming to China, I was also responsible for Asian affairs in the Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry, surely including Chinese affairs. On May 17th, 2016, I submitted my credential to the Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, that was a very unforgettable day. “文化合作是促进两国交流的重要内容之一。2017年，‘亚美尼亚文化日’在中国举办。2016年，‘中国文化日’在亚美尼亚举办。双方合办1所孔子学院、3所孔子课堂。请问：作为亚美尼亚驻华大使，您将如何积极推动中亚两国文化的交流与合作？谢谢!”有小记者问。
“Cultural cooperation is an important component of promoting exchanges between the two countries. In 2017, "Armenian Culture Day" was held in China. In 2016, "Chinese Culture Day" was held in Armenia. The two countries jointly established one Confucius Institute and three Confucius classrooms. I would like to ask: as the Armenian Ambassador to China, how will you actively promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between Armenia and China? Thank you!” another junior journalist asked.
马纳萨良多大使回答：“有一点很重要，如果没有文化这个载体，我们政治和外交方面的相互理解、交流很难做到。中国和亚美尼亚定期的组织文化日活动，亚美尼亚的文化日在中国，中国的文化日在亚美尼亚，我们那还有孔子学院，他们的工作是非常良好，我们正在搞一个中国美术作品展览，中国的文化教育在亚美尼亚得到广泛的认可，作为大使，我会全力为两国进一步提升文化交流的层次和水平、共同挖掘丝路文化内涵、为两国友好关系书写绚丽的篇章。”
Ambassador Manassarian answered: “It is very important. Also, it is difficult to achieve our mutual understanding and communication in politics and diplomacy without cultural exchanges. China and Armenia regularly organize cultural events. The “Armenian Cultural Day” in China, “Chinese Cultural Day” and Confucius Institutes in Armenia, they are well organized. We are currently organizing a Chinese art exhibition because Chinese culture and education are widely recognized in Armenia. As the ambassador, I will make great efforts to further improve the level of cultural exchanges between the two countries, jointly explore the cultural connotation of Silk Road, and write a beautiful chapter for the friendly relations between the two countries.”
年龄小的小记者还饶有兴趣的向马纳萨良多大使提问美尼亚的教育与中国有什么不同？小学生他们一年放假几次？放假会有很多作业吗？ 放学后，小学生有什么喜欢做的事情？同时小记者发出邀请：希望能和亚美尼亚小学生交朋友，邀请他们到中国，向他们传递中国儿童对他们的友好情意。
A very young student asked the ambassador about the differences between Armenian and Chinese education systems? How many holidays do Armenian students get every year? Do they have a lot of homework? What things do they enjoy doing after school? At the same time, they wished to make friends with Armenian children and invite them to China for building a wonderful friendship Chinese and Armenian children and youth.
马纳萨良多大使很高兴，对小记者们的问题一一作了回答，他建议：和亚美尼亚小学生交朋友，可以写信转给孔子学院，或者转给一些学习汉语的学校，我们帮你们牵线搭桥，建立起关系来之后，以后可以利用网络，现在网络非常发达，你们就可以自由的通信了，当然如果你们能够讲英文呢，那就更好的交流了。
Ambassador Manassarian was very happy and answered all questions from the junior journalists. He suggested that to make friends with Armenian children, you can write letters to the Confucius Institute or other Chinese schools in Armenia. We can help you as well. After you establish a relationship with them, you can use the internet to connect with them anytime in the future. Of course, if you can speak English, then you will communicate better with them.
采访结束，马纳萨良多大使愉快的邀请小记者们到亚美尼亚国家旅游观光，小记者们也把自己准备的小礼物赠送给马纳萨良多大使和亚美尼亚外交官，一时间，亚美尼亚驻华大使馆会议厅祝福声、欢笑声汇聚一堂，合影时大家齐声欢呼：中亚友谊万岁……
At the end of the interview, Ambassador Manassarian happily invite all junior journalists to visit Armenia. The junior journalists also presented their small gifts to the ambassador and other Armenian diplomats. Suddenly, the Armenian embassy in China was full of laughs and joy with lovely smiles.
