今年9月，举世瞩目中非合作论坛将在北京举行，近50个非洲国家的国家元首、政府首脑、代表团团长、非洲联盟委员会主席以及外交部长和负责经济合作事务的部长将出席中非合作论坛峰会和部长会。中外新闻社是采访中非合作论坛的媒体，为了在更高水平上体现中非友谊、为世界和平注入正能量。8月9日，由中外新闻社组织的“见证友谊” --中外新闻社小记者同前往非洲国家--贝宁驻华大使馆采访。采访前，全体小记者举行向贝宁失学女童捐款活动，捐款同时，每一位小记者都给贝宁的失学女童写了一封信。有小记者在信中说：“尊敬的贝宁女童：今天我们采访贝宁大使馆，希望通过我们的捐助，能够让你们重新背起书包，走进课堂，我相信在不久的将来，贝宁贫困失学女童会越来越少，所有的女孩子都能高高兴兴地上学去。我在远方关注着你们--同在蓝天下，为拥有美好的明天加油……”
In September this year, the China-Africa Cooperation Forum will be held in Beijing. Before the interview, all junior journalists made generous donations to Beninese out-of-school girls. At the same time, each student wrote a letter to those girls in Benin. I hope that through our donations, you will be able to retake your schoolbag and enter the classroom again. I believe that in the near future, the girls in poverty will be less and less, and all girls will go to school happily every day. I am sending you my best thoughts from long distance, we are under the same blue sky and cheer with each other for a better tomorrow...”
清华大学著名画家为此次活动画了一幅画，画面上一个贝宁的小女孩和一个中国的小女孩愉快的在一起，主题为：同在蓝天下……小记者们捐款时在这幅画上角写上自己的名字，然后把写的信和善款一起放进信封交给西蒙大使转交给贝宁的失学女童。西蒙大使现场深受感动，他说，小记者的善举是向“中非合作论坛”献上一份厚礼……
A famous painter from Tsinghua University drew a painting for the event. The painting shows that a little Beninese girl and a little Chinese girl are happy together, with the theme of “Under the Blue Sky”. All junior journalists signed their names on the scroll, then they passed the painting alone with their letters and donations to the Beninese Ambassador to China, Mr. Simon. 在采访环节，有小记者问：“大使阁下您好！今年9月中非合作论坛将在北京举行，中贝两国在科学、技术、创新、文化、艺术和体育领域都应该加强合作，您认为：如何借助中非合作论坛建立一个可持续的、对青年一代有益的机制？谢谢！”
During the interview period, a junior journalist asked: “Hello Ambassador! This September, China-Africa Forum will be hosted in Beijing. China and Benin will further enhance cooperation in many areas, including science, technology, innovation, culture, arts and sports. In your opinions, how can we build a sustainable and beneficial mechanism between China and Benin through China-Africa Forum?”

Your donations will make the out-of-school girls in Benin return to school. On behalf of my country, I sincerely thank all of you. The China-Africa Cooperation Forum will be held in Beijing this September. Our President Patrice Talon has been invited by President Xi Jinping to China. How to build a sustainable and beneficial exchange mechanism for the younger generation through the China-Africa Cooperation Forum? I think we should start with the most fundamental education. I hope that our students can come to China to study and experience different education and life here. I hope that young people in Africa can have opportunities to learn more about China through various exchange programs and other forms of cooperation. Meanwhile, China can learn more about Africa as well.
“你好大使阁下，贝宁是一个非洲西部的国家，非洲原野是地球上野生动物物种最丰富的世界,有野生动物的自然公园，请问：贝宁政府出台哪些政策来保护野生动物、合理利用野生动物资源、维护生态平衡？谢谢！”小记者问。
“Hello Ambassador! Benin is a country in the west of Africa. The African land is the heaven for many wild animals on the earth. There are also many natural parks of wild animals. What policies have been issued by the Beninese government to protect wild animals, make rational use of wild animal resources and maintain ecological balance? Thank you!” another junior journalist asked.
“野生动物是大自然的产物,在贝宁的西北部山区，北纬12度，东经3度附近的世界版图上，大自然热带雨林气候中自然生存繁衍着各种野生动植物。丰富的动植物种类和自然界生气盎然的无穷的魅力，贝宁有个外号叫‘非洲的拉丁区’， 贝宁政府出台很多政策来保护野生动物，野生动物保护也要需要国际合作。”西蒙大使谈到。
“Wild animals are the products of the great nature. In the mountainous area of northwestern Benin at 12 degrees north latitude and 3 degrees east longitude, the natural tropical rainforest climate naturally nourishes various wild animals and plants. With rich flora and fauna species as well as the limitless energetic natural world, Benin has a nickname as 'the Latin Zone in Africa', the Beninese government has introduced many policies to protect wildlife, and wildlife conservation requires international cooperation.” Ambassador Simon said.
小记者们还同西蒙大使交流贝宁的旅游、教育、文化方面的话题，小记者们在贝宁国家宣传片里可以看到，贝宁从南到北都是非常丰富的，贝宁从来没有过内战。大使说，贝宁是非洲最安全的国家之一，贝宁永远是中国的好朋友。
The junior journalists also asked Ambassador Simon many questions about Beninese tourism, education and culture. From a short video about Benin, the junior journalists saw the rich natural resources in Benin, and this lovely country has never been civil war. The ambassador told us that Benin is one of the safest countries in Africa and Benin is always a good friend of China.
