Vietnam is located in the south-central peninsula of Southeast Asia. China and Vietnam are socialist and friendly neighbors, sharing common beliefs as well as wide-ranging strategic interests. At 3:00 pm, the junior journalists waved the national flags of Vietnam and China and entered the Embassy of Vietnam in China. Firstly, they took a group photo with Vietnamese youngsters and diplomats as well as President of Home and Abroad News Press Ms. Wei Yan and the Ambassador of Vietnam in China H.E. Pham Thanh Binh in front of the statue of Ho Chi Minh. He said that Vietnam and China have a long-lasting friendship bonded with the same history and culture, and you are the inheritors and ambassadors of the friendship between Vietnam and China.

Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh delivered a welcome speech, thanking President of Home and Abroad News Press Ms. Wei Yan for taking a group of junior journalists to visit the Embassy of Vietnam in China. This year we are celebrating for the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, and the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Vietnam on April 14th, as the brother-like traditional friendship has become a precious treasure for the people of the two countries. In particular, the two countries agreed to build a strategic Vietnam-China community of destiny, and bilateral relations have made new breakthroughs and achieved strong and comprehensive development in various fields with fruitful results.

在采访环节, 有小记者问大使: 你好大使阁下! 您是一位资深的外交官, 此前担任越南外交部副部长, 2025年 7月 25 日, 你在北京人民大会堂向中国国家主席习近平递交国书, 正式成为越南民主共和国驻华大使。2025 年是中越建交 75 周年, 也是中越人文交流年。你认为, 中越青少年如何传承两国的宝贵友谊? 两国青少年如何为中越关系健康发展贡献自己的智慧和力量? ”
During the interview session, a junior journalist asked: “Hello Ambassador! You are a senior diplomat who previously served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. On July 25th, 2025, you presented your credentials to the Chinese President Xi Jinping, officially becoming the Ambassador of Vietnam to China. 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, as well as the China-Vietnam Year of Cultural Exchange. In your opinions, how should we younger generation can carry forward the precious friendship between the two countries? How can we contribute our wisdom and efforts to further promote the China-Vietnam relations? Thank you!”
范清平大使谈到, 首先两国青少年要努力学习, 两国青少年可以通过我们大使馆和在网络上交朋友, 注意关注对方国发生的大事件, 有着流利的口才和自信的气质, 增强中越两国意识和国际交际能力。
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh said, first of all, the youth of the two countries should study hard and make friends through our embassies and on the Internet, pay attention to the big events in each other’s country. You should also have well-developed eloquence and self-confident temperament to increase the awareness of China and Vietnam and international exchanges.

“Dear Ambassador, hello! The poem
“这是个有趣的问题!” 范清平大使说, 这首诗确实是我们在越南高中文学必修的一首唐诗。当时觉得黄鹤楼非常的漂亮, 也非常的遥远, 来到中国担任外交官之后, 我也有幸能够去看看中国的山川河流, 也亲自到了黄鹤楼。这首诗表达了一种思乡的情怀, 就像远离了家乡, 但是还是通过一首诗, 一个美好的场景, 可以让自己思念家人。读万卷书不如行万里路, 所以小记者们也要经常的多出去看看外面的世界!
“This is an interesting question!” Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh said that this poem is indeed one of the famous poems from Tang Dynasty that we had to study in Vietnamese high school literature class. At that time, I thought the Yellow Crane Tower was very beautiful and far away, but after I came to China as a diplomat, I was fortunate enough to be able to see the mountains and rivers of China, and to visit the Yellow Crane Tower in person. This poem expresses a kind of homesickness, like being far away from home, but still through a poem, a beautiful scene, can make myself miss my family. It is better to read a thousand books than to travel a thousand miles, so junior journalists should go out more often to see the outside world!
小记者们还饶有兴趣问范清平大使越南的旅游和世界自然遗产保护情况, 特别对下龙湾、吉婆群岛群体列入世界自然遗产名录非常感兴趣。
The junior journalists also asked Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh about Vietnam's tourism and world natural heritage protection, especially interested in the inscription of Halong Bay and Kepha Islands on the World Natural Heritage List.
采访活动中, 越南的一位小朋友拿着话筒也向中国小记者提问：“我很高兴今天可以认识好多中国小朋友。可不可以分享一下：关于我们的国家, 在你们记忆和印象中最深刻的一点是什么? 越南和中国最相同的一点又是什么? ”
During the interview, a Vietnamese child also asked a question to the Chinese junior journalists: “I am very happy to meet many Chinese friends today. Can you share with us what you remember most about our country? What are the most similarities between Vietnam and China?”
来自柳州的小记者回答：“越南给我们印象最深刻的是：满大街跑的摩托车, 人们住的房子五颜六色, 海上桂林--下龙湾特别美, 越南粉吃了还想吃。”柳州小记者说, 越南同中国的祖先实际上是同源的。
The junior journalist from Liuzhou answered: “What impressed us most about Vietnam are: motorcycles running all over the streets, colorful houses, the beauty of Halong Bay and the Vietnamese noodle which we want to eat again and again.” The junior journalists from Liuzhou said that Vietnam and China are actually of the same ancestry.
采访活动中, 中外新闻社小记者和越南学生们在“同在蓝天下--中越青少年祝贺中越建交75周年”的大幅画上分别画上自己创作的最新最美的图画、写上自己的祝福语和心中的愿望, 并互相赠送礼品, 用华语、越南语友好交流。越南学生通过与中国小记者的文化交流和互动, 不仅完美地代表了越南文化, 还对中国文化有了新的认识。
During the interview, the junior journalists and Vietnamese students drew the most beautiful picture together and wrote their blessing messages on the large painting “Under the Blue Sky - Chinese and Vietnamese Youth Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Vietnam”, then they exchanged gifts with each other and talked friendly in Chinese and Vietnamese languages. Through the cultural exchanges and interactions with the Chinese journalists, the Vietnamese students not only perfectly represented the Vietnamese culture, but also gained more understanding about the Chinese culture.

He played the song with passionate, beautiful and touching melody, causing emotional resonance to the listeners, music and emotion can play a bridge role in the Chinese and Vietnamese friendly relations. His performance was highly praised by Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh and other diplomats.
小记者郭宇晨现场合着优美的三江民族音乐, 在越南大使馆表演了三江民族音乐《飞向苗乡侗寨》, 赢得了在场越南外交官的阵阵掌声。韦嘉淇、吴佳羲、何易航、郭宇晨等小记者邀请范清平大使在家乡美丽的画版上签名。
