The Federal Republic of Nigeria is a country located in the southeast of West Africa. It is the most populous nation in Africa and one of the continent's ancient civilizations. The Nigerian Armed Forces constitute one of Africa's largest military forces, comprising approximately 200,000 active-duty personnel and 500,000 reservists. It shoulders vital responsibilities including safeguarding national security, combating terrorism, and maintaining regional stability.

Mr. Babagana Wakil stated that Nigeria, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, is the birthplace of various traditional medical treatments and remedies. One such traditional remedy involves wild herbs, which locals frequently brew into decoctions to prevent malaria and alleviate pain. Despite the longstanding history of traditional medicine, regulatory frameworks governing its practice remain underdeveloped in this region. Future collaboration between China and Nigeria in developing herbal and alternative medicines will undoubtedly push up national development and benefit the people of both nations.
