In Argentina's national soccer team, No. 10 jersey is considered as the soul of the team. Messi’s No. 10 jersey has profound and important meaning behind it. July 19th, 2014, Argentine Vice President Amado Boudou presented the Messi’s No. 10 jersey to Chinese President Xi Jinping; January 26th, 2016, Consul of Argentina Consulate General in Shanghai, Mr. Javier Alfredo De Cicco also presented the Messi’s No. 10 jersey to Home and Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation. All the delegation members suddenly became ecstatic. They said that becoming a journalist feels so good, because we have the opportunities to realize our dreams in any moment!
1月26日下午2点，“见证友谊”--中外新闻社小记者挥动两国国旗请问坐落在上海市延安东路58号高登金融大厦12楼的阿根廷驻上海总领事馆采访。阿根廷驻上海总领事馆柯维（Mr. Javier Alfredo De Cicco）领事接受小记者采访。
In the afternoon of January 26th, “Witness Friendship” 2016 Winter Home & Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation came to the Consulate General of Argentina in Shanghai. The Consul of Argentina Consulate General in Shanghai, Mr. Javier Alfredo De Cicco accepted our exclusive interview request.
小记者问：“你好柯维先生，上海市是中国首屈一指的国际化大都市。作为阿根廷驻上海总领事馆新闻文化领事，你觉得上海的文化有哪些特点? 在这座城市里，你喜欢什么样的生活? ”
A junior journalist asked: “Dear Mr. Javier Alfredo De Cicco, Shanghai is one of the internationalized metropolitan cities in China. As the Information and Culture Consul of Argentina Consulate General in Shanghai, what are the special characteristics of Shanghai in your opinions? In this city, what do you like the most?”
“我在正式上任阿根廷外交官职位之前，只有从书本上了解上海，一到上海我才感到惊讶：上海是一个繁华的现代化大城市，有70个国家的总领事馆在上海，中国文化在上海有着重要的地位和作用，上海旅游对外宣传也很有特点值得阿根廷学习。还有我喜欢上海的美食、外滩，上海的建筑之美也让我震撼。”
“Before coming to Shanghai for the consul position, I only learnt a little about Shanghai. When I first arrived this city, I was shocked because Shanghai is such a modern and well-developed metropolitan city. More than 70 countries established consulate general in Shanghai. Chinese culture plays an important role in Shanghai, and Argentina should learn from Shanghai on how to promote its tourism. I also like the Shanghainese food, Shanghai Bund and the beautiful buildings.”
有小记者问：“你好，请问你喜欢足球吗？2014年7月19日，阿根廷副总统布杜向中国国家主席习近平赠送了阿根廷国家足球队10号球衣；同时15名中国足球小将在阿根廷博卡青年队俱乐部训练。阿根廷和中国在足球上已经结下不解之缘请问:阿根廷将如何把足球精髓带给中国、让中国能够早日举办一届“世界杯”?
Another journalist asked: “Do you like soccer? On July 19th 2014, Argentine Vice President Amado Boudou gave a No. 10 soccer team shirt of the Argentina national soccer team to Chinese President Xi Jinping. Fifteen Chinese teenagers will be going to the junior soccer player’s training camp in Boca Soccer Club in Argentina. Argentina and China have had a close relationship in soccer. How will Argentina continue the special soccer friendship with China and help China to possibly host the World Cup in the future?”
“我非常喜欢足球，阿根廷国家男子足球队是世界上最成功的国家队之一，曾两次称雄世界杯、14次夺得美洲杯、两次获得奥运男足金牌，阿根廷人对足球充满激情。习近平访问阿根廷，与阿根廷领导人会见中，习近平再次提到足球，他表示，中国足球的发展，希望同阿根廷加强交流合作。之后，两国签署了很多有关足球的合作备忘录，相信不久的将来，中国也会出现中国出版的“梅西”，也会举办一届“世界杯”。
“I also like soccer very much. Argentina national soccer team is one of the world's most successful national teams. The team won the World Cup twice, the America's Cup 14 times as well as the gold medals in the men’s soccer in the Olympic Games twice. Argentine people are passionate for soccer. When Xi Jinping visited Argentina and met with Argentine leaders, Xi Jinping mentioned soccer many times. He said that China is willing to enhance exchanges and cooperation with Argentina to develop Chinese soccer teams. After that, the two countries signed a memorandum of cooperation related to the soccer sports. I believe that in the near future, China will have great soccer player like “Messi” and then it will host the World Cup in the future.”

During the interview, Mr. Javier Alfredo De Cicco also introduced Argentine tourism, food, culture and such. When listening to his introduction, the junior journalists enjoyed some Argentine cookies. This is truly pleasure for them to take enjoyment in both brains and stomachs.
