韩国驻上海总领事馆是小记者采访的第一个总领事馆。韩国驻上海总领事馆坐落在上海市万山路60号。从占地面积和建筑在外国驻上海总领事馆的相比下应该排列前茅，同时也显示出韩国的经济实力。
The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai was the first consulate the delegation visited this year. The consulate is located in 60 Wanshan Road. Based on the comparison of the land area and the building size, it could be one of the biggest consulates in Shanghai. From this fact, we can see Korea’s solid economic strength.
26日早上9点15分，我们依次排队，手中挥动着中韩两国国旗，在总领事馆文化处官员的带领下走进总领事馆，来到会议室等待采访。当我们小记者整齐地坐在会议厅时，韩国驻上海总领事韩硕熙（Mr. Consul General）先生率领外交领事、教育领事和文化领事等坐在会议台中央，庄重大气。小记者向他们问好：“Morning！”更是有人说起了韩语：“啊腻啊塞欧！”领事们也回应：“Hello！”
At 9:15 in the morning of January 26th, we entered the consulate one by one while waving the national flags of China and South Korea. When we were preparing for the interview in a large meeting room, Mr. Consul General came in with the consul of diplomacy, the consul of education and the consul of culture. Junior journalists said “Good Morning!” in both English and Korean (안녕하세요). Mr. Han Seok-hee and other consuls said hey to us too.
首先总领事韩硕熙（Mr. Consul General）致欢迎词，他说，作为韩国驻上海总领事，今天能与众多的小记者--中国未来的主力军相聚，我非常感动，也感到很荣幸。韩国和中国地源相近，两国建交以来，高层往来不断,相互尊重、相互信任不断加深。我希望在我任职内，为促进中韩两国友好关系做出努力。
At first, Mr. Consul General made a welcome speech. He said that as the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, it’s his honour to meet so many junior journalists today because the children are the future of China. China and South Korea are close to each other. Since the two countries established diplomatic relations, the communication between senior officials has never stopped. Mutual respect and trust have been deepened continuously. I hope that during my term of office, I can contribute more to promote the friendship between China and South Korea.
小记者问：“你好韩硕熙总领事！我们小记者有机会采访您很高兴。你是一位干练的外交官，作为韩国驻上海总领事，请谈谈你对上海的印象。
A junior journalist asked: “Hello, Mr. Consul General! We are very glad to have a chance to have an interview with you. You are a capable and experienced diplomat. As the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, could you talk about your thought of Shanghai?”
总领事说，上海是一个现代化的国际城市，在上海这座城市能感受到很多的中国传统文化，上海也是繁华的，富有生机和活力，上海人很有礼貌，我很幸运，能在这个城市工作和生活。
Mr. Consul General answered: “Shanghai is a modern international city. In Shanghai, you can feel many Chinese traditional culture. Shanghai is also prosperous with vitality and power. People in Shanghai are polite. I think that I am very lucky to work and live in this city.”
“你好，韩硕熙总领事！你曾是韩国延世大学的教授，上世纪90年代你在中国北京大学担任过访问学者，推动中韩两国的教育交流。我们很关心你的孩子，作为教授，你是如何教育你的孩子的？”有小记者问。
“Hello, Mr. Consul General Han Shuoxi! You used to be a professor in Yonsei University. You were a visiting scholar in Peking University in the 1990s so as to promote the education exchange between China and South Korea. We are concerned with your children. As a professor, how do you educate you children?” another journalist asked.
总领事首先介绍了自己的家庭，他有一个已经毕业的25岁儿子和一个22岁的未毕业女儿。总领事说，他在上海生活了9个月，今年52岁。他觉得生活在上海很幸运，并把他的孩子从韩国接了过来。作为一个孩子的家长，他给了他们自由，帮助他们找到兴趣、擅长的东西，也要让他们学习中文，与中国人民交朋友。让他们明白自己人生的目标。“我和他们相处就像朋友一样。”总领事骄傲的说。
Mr. Consul General firstly introduced his family. He has a 25-years old son and a 22- years old daughter. He has lived in Shanghai for 9 months. He will be 52 this year. He thought that living in Shanghai is very comfortable and convenient. Therefore, he decide to take his children to Shanghai from South Korea as well. As a parent, he gave them freedom, helped them to find their interests and strengths. He also asked them to learn Chinese and make more Chinese friends so that they can find their life goals here. “My kids and I are just like friends.” Mr. Consul General proudly said.
总领事还就小记者们关心的：中韩两国文化在新的形势下有哪些深层次的交流与合作、特别是青少年文化的交流？韩国能吸引世界旅游者的目光是什么等回答了小记者们的提问。
Mr. Consul General answered other questions from the junior journalists, such as the further culture exchange and cooperation between China and South Korea, Korea’s tourism and so on.
采访结束，小记者们把自己准备的小礼物赠送韩硕熙总领事，祝福他和全体外交官们在中国过新年健康快乐，韩硕熙总领事也够每一位小记者赠送了新年礼物。小记者们表示努力将中韩友谊的接力棒传接下来，为实现世界和平与发展的梦想做出努力。
After the interview, the junior journalists presented their gifts to Mr. Consul General and wished him and all the consulate diplomats a happy new year in China. Mr. Han Seok-hee also gave each journalist a New Year gift. All journalists expressed that they will carry on China and South Korea’s friendship and contribute their best to achieve world peace and global development.
