An embassy is a diplomatic representative agency of a country in a foreign country’s capital. On behalf of a country, an embassy is appointed by the head of state as the representative to maintain and develop the relations between both countries. The embassy is like a display window to show the world its unique cultural charm. The comprehensive development of China's friendly relations and cooperation with other countries is based on China’s principles of equality and mutual benefits. China actively developed the multi-level, wide-ranging and comprehensive cooperation with many countries with fruitful results. Furthermore, the youths are particularly important for promoting China's friendly and cooperative relations with foreign countries. Making full use of its unique function and competitive advantages, “Home & Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation to the Foreign Embassies” has become a well-known international branding strategy to send the future journalists to exclusive interviews with foreign diplomats and embassy envoys in China.

8月3日下午，“见证友谊”中外新闻社小记者2015暑期访问外国驻华使领馆小记者团、中外新闻社2015意大利米兰世博会小记者采访团在北京金桥国际酒店举行了开团仪式。中共中央宣传部新闻出版局副局长张凡、联合国教科文卫促进会主席杰妮、联合国教科文卫促进会纽约代表慕容虹等领导应邀出席，张凡对即将出征、肩负着外事采访任务的小记者们发表了重要讲话。联合国附属机构北北合作组织首席新闻官、中外新闻社总裁韦燕在会上就“见证友谊”中外新闻社2015暑期访问外国驻华使领馆小记者团采访的国家一一作了介绍，并对外交礼仪、采访技巧、标题制作等进行了实战培训。中共中央宣传部新闻出版局副局长张凡，联合国教科文卫促进会主席杰妮在台上挥动小记者团团旗，之后交给小记者团团长、山东大学第二附属中学学生王欣怡，然后小记者列队出征,将采访俄罗斯、赞比亚、吉尔吉斯坦、牙买加、菲律宾、印尼、肯尼亚、孟加拉、塞尔维亚、巴基斯坦等10国驻华使馆。
In the afternoon of August 3rd, the Opening Ceremony of “Witness of Friendship” 2015 Home & Abroad News Press Junior Journalist Delegation to the Foreign Embassies and the Home & Abroad News Press Journalist Delegation to 2015 Milano Expo was held at Golden Bridge International Hotel in Beijing .The Deputy Secretary of Publication Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Mr. Zhang Fan, the Chairman of the United Nations Education Science Cultural Health Advancement Foundation Ms. Jennie Yeung and the General Representative of the United Nations Education Science Cultural Health Advancement Foundation in New York Ms. Mu Ronghong were invited to attend the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhang Fan delivered a keynote speech to all junior journalists and wished them learn as much as possible in this meaningful summer event. The Chief Information Officer of the UN affiliated North-North Network, the President of Home and Abroad News Press, Mrs. Wei Yan made a detailed introduction to the students and their parents. Also, she provided a brief training session to all junior journalists for diplomatic etiquettes, interviewing skills and reporting skills etc. Mr. Zhang Fan and Ms. Jennie Yeung passed the delegation flag to the delegation team lead Wang Xinyi. This time, the delegation will visit 10 foreign embassies in China, including Zambia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Jamaica, Philippines, Indonesia, Kenya, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Serbia.

小记者们在出征仪式上分别作了认真的发言，他们为能够有机会与各国政府驻华高级官员“零距离”对话感到由衷的兴奋和激动，纷纷表示，要珍惜此次机会了解各国的文化和教育，感受各国外交官的智慧、热情与友好，学习外交官的外交风范，同时提高自己的英语水平。
The junior journalists spoke respectively in the ceremony. They were very excited for this opportunity to have exclusive interviews with foreign senior officials in China. They promised to value this special occasion to learn more about other countries’ culture and education, to experience the wisdom, enthusiasm and friendliness of the foreign diplomats in China while improving their temperament and English skills.

中外新闻社2015意大利米兰世博会（小记者+大记者）采访团此前已获得米兰世博会组委会采访资格，在米兰市世博会组委会安排下，将分别采访联合国、意大利、美国、德国、英国、马来西亚等国家馆。8月：中外新闻社将开启新一轮的外交之旅。
Home & Abroad News Press Journalist Delegation to 2015 Milano Expo was accredited by the Organizing Committee of the 2015 Milano Expo.
