I would first like to express my sincere appreciation to the organizers of this magnificent Ceremony for the kind invitation. It is a pleasure to be with you here today.
首先, 我要衷心感谢本次盛典的组织者发出的盛情邀请。今天能与诸位在此相聚, 我深感荣幸。
It is also a great honour for me as Ambassador of Bulgaria to China to receive this generous award, which is a recognition of the consistent efforts dedicated to the further enhancement of the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and China in the political, economic, cultural and other spheres.
作为保加利亚驻华大使, 能够获得这项殊荣, 我倍感荣幸。该奖项是对我为深化保中两国在政治、经济、文化等领域双边关系所作持续努力的肯定。
Indeed, the friendly relations between our two countries and peoples have developed on a solid foundation practically since the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Let me recall that Bulgaria was the second country in the world to have recognized the PRC in the first days of October 1949.
事实上, 自中华人民共和国成立以来, 两国人民之间的友好关系便奠定了坚实基础。请允许我回顾：1949年10月初, 保加利亚成为全球第二个承认中华人民共和国的国家。
Bulgarian-Chinese relations are traditionally friendly and based on mutual respect and goodwill, having endured the test of time and matured positively in these past 76 years.
保加利亚与中国关系历来友好, 建立在相互尊重和善意基础上, 经受住时间考验, 在过去76年里不断深化发展。
Importantly, in 2019, by the common decision of our two Presidents, Xi Jinping and Rumen Radev the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and China were elevated to "strategic partnership" level.
值得一提的是, 2019年, 经两国元首习近平和鲁门·拉德夫共同决定, 保中双边关系提升至“战略伙伴关系”水平。
The Government of Bulgaria highly values our relations with China. China is our priority partner in Asia.
保加利亚政府高度重视与中国的关系。中国是我们亚洲地区的优先合作伙伴。
In this context, in an interview I was invited to give to one of China’s leading news outlets a year ago I mentioned that one of my tasks as ambassador in the coming period will be to work with our Chinese partners to intensify the exchange of high-level bilateral visits.
在此背景下, 一年前我应邀接受中国一家主流媒体采访时曾提到, 作为大使, 我未来的工作重点之一就是与中国合作伙伴加强高层互访交流。
A year later through our common efforts this task has been successfully accomplished.
一年后的今天, 通过双方共同努力, 这项任务已圆满完成。
In 2025 the Vice-president of Bulgaria visited Beijing, followed by a visit of a deputy speaker of the Bulgarian National Assembly. Earlier we had two visits to China by a Deputy Prime Minster, as well as several visits at ministerial level. The meetings of the Bulgarian high officials with their Chinese counterparts amply demonstrated the mutual will to strengthen our bilateral relations through constructive and pragmatic mutually beneficial - “win-win”- cooperation in all spheres of common interest, including by strengthening our economic ties and expanding bilateral trade, where many unexplored opportunities undoubtedly still exist.
2025年, 保加利亚副总统访问北京, 随后保加利亚国民议会副议长也进行了访问。此前, 保加利亚副总理曾两次访华, 另有数次部长级访问。保加利亚高层官员与中方对口官员的会晤充分展现了双方共同意愿：通过在所有共同关心的领域开展建设性、务实、互利共赢的合作来加强双边关系, 包括深化经济联系、扩大双边贸易, 这些领域无疑仍存在诸多未开发的机遇。
Likewise, our bilateral cooperation in the sphere of culture and education, as well as active people-to people exchanges have both solid traditions and bright perspectives, contributing to the further strengthening of the friendly relations between our two nations.
同样, 我们在文化教育领域的双边合作以及活跃的人文交流, 既拥有深厚的传统, 也蕴含着广阔的前景, 为进一步巩固两国友好关系做出了贡献。
In this respect, the award that I received today will be an additional source of inspiration for me as Ambassador of Bulgaria to work tirelessly to further contribute to the advancement of our cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest.
在此背景下, 今日所获殊荣将为我作为保加利亚驻华大使注入新的动力, 激励我继续不懈努力, 为推动两国在共同关心的各领域合作取得更大进展贡献力量。
In conclusion, I would like to reiterate my conviction that and the traditionally amicable relations between our two countries will continue to advance in the interest of the prosperity of our two friendly peoples.
最后, 我愿重申坚定信念：两国传统友好关系必将持续深化, 为两国人民的繁荣福祉不断创造新的成果。中国正向世界表达开放态度, 而我们也正在寻求开放的机遇。我们希望与中国达成更多的合作。
