The Hong Kong International Carbon Neutrality Development Action Forum, jointly hosted by United Nations International Collaboration and Coordination Agency Carbon Neutrality Action Committee and Home and Abroad News Press, grandly commenced at the International Ballroom of the Mira Hotel in Hong Kong. Chairwoman of United Nations International Collaboration and Coordination Agency Carbon Neutrality Action Committee and President of Home and Abroad News Press Ms. Wei Yan, Special Envoy and Chairman of the Global Bank for the UN Green Climate Fund Mr. Pan Enliang, Member of the Expert Group of the Policy Unit of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Mr. Chan Chung-yi, Chairman of the China-Foreign Entrepreneurs Federation Mr. David Xiao, Chairperson of the Macau City Charity Association Ms. Sai Tsui-lin, the former official of Shenzhen Customs Mr. Song Zhiming, and entrepreneurs and carbon neutrality experts from Canada, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, China, and Macau attended the forum.

Chairwoman of United Nations International Collaboration and Coordination Agency Carbon Neutrality Action Committee and President of Home and Abroad News Press Ms. Wei Yan delivered the opening remarks. She stated that the world is currently undergoing accelerated transformation amid a century of change, with human society standing at a new crossroads. Between September 21st to 24th last year, I attended the UN Future Summit Action Days as a Chinese representative with our Vice President, Mr. Alan Zhang. During the summit, I engaged in thematic discussions with U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Mr. John Kerry. Beyond progress on climate mitigation, The COP also successfully established a global goal framework for climate adaptation, providing momentum to strengthen the resilience of communities worldwide in confronting increasingly severe climate impacts.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the UN Future Summit and delivered an important speech titled “Shaping Our Shared Future”. Home and Abroad News Press reported on-site: The Future Summit has injected new momentum into global peace and development, with the proposed “Future Compact” outlining a grand blueprint for humanity's shared future. Wei Yan also noted that with Hainan's imminent closure of its borders, Home and Abroad News Press Ambassadors Club will establish a “Hainan Exchange Center” in Haikou City to better leverage its role within the Hainan Free Trade Zone and advance international cooperation in Hainan's marine economy. Special Envoy and Chairman of the Global Green Climate Bank under the United Nations International Organization Mr. Pan Enliang stated that formulating low-carbon policies does not mean sacrificing economic growth, but rather redefining it. Clean energy, green transportation, energy-efficient buildings, climate-smart agriculture, and circular economy practices can pioneer new industries, create green jobs, and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. How to realize this vision? Speakers including Mr. David Xiao, Chairman of the China-Foreign Entrepreneurs Association and Head of the Australia Branch of Home and Abroad News Press, and Mr. Zhao Ming, representative of carbon-neutral entrepreneurs, addressed the forum. During the forum panel review session, the organizing committee invited five panelists: Mr. David Xiao, Chairman of the China-Foreign Entrepreneurs Association; Ms. Wen Jing, CEO of Kunpeng Excellence Holdings Limited; Mr. Song Zhiming, former official of Shenzhen Customs; Ms. Lin Lin, CEO of Shenzhen Green Mountain Data Source Company; and Mr. Zhao Ming, representative of carbon-neutral entrepreneurs. They discussed their commitment to becoming an outstanding low-carbon digital integrated energy technology service provider, enhancing efficiency through intelligence, and supporting smart manufacturing and digital transformation. The dialogue was moderated by Ms. Wei Yan. The five speakers offered constructive proposals for strengthening global community resilience against escalating climate impacts, unequivocally endorsed China's national carbon peak and carbon neutrality objectives, and demonstrated the responsibility and commitment expected of a major global power.

Green Supply Chain Management Award: honors enterprises that actively adopt sustainable management practices in supply chain operations and excel in promoting carbon reduction and achieving green development. Green Innovation Performance Award: honors enterprises that actively pursue sustainable development goals in the carbon neutrality field, making outstanding contributions in innovation and standard-setting. Sustainable Finance Innovation Award: honors institutions and individuals (15 awards in total) for exceptional innovative contributions in advancing the dual carbon goals and advancing green finance. Ms. Wei Yan presented awards to the winners.
