4月12日，巴基斯坦驻华大使馆在北京举行建国72周年国庆招待会。中国交通部部长李盛霖，外交部副部长傅莹和外国驻华使节及友好人士参加国庆招待会，中外新闻社高层应邀出席会议。
April 12th, the Embassy of Pakistan held Reception Gala in Beijing to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the founding. Mr. Li Shenglin, the Minister of the Ministry of Transport of China, Mrs. Fu Ying, the Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as other foreign envoys and executives of Home and Abroad News Press attended the event.
巴基斯坦驻华大使马苏德•汗大使在会上发表讲话，他回顾了巴基斯坦和中国建交61年来的发展历程，对巴中两国深厚的兄弟之情表示由衷的赞美。同时他还把中国与巴基斯坦的关系比天高、比海深、比蜜甜、比眼睛更重要。
Masood Khan, Pakistani Ambassador to China gave a speech at the event and he reviewed the 61 years’development process of the diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. He expressed his sincere praise to the deep brotherhood of Pakistan and China. He said the relation between China and Pakistan is higher than the sky, deeper than the sea and sweeter than honey and more important than the eyes.
中国交通部李盛霖部长发表讲话，他说，中巴建交61年来，两国间相互理解、相互支持，建立了全天候的友谊，开展了全方位的合作。中方高度赞成巴基斯坦在台湾、涉藏、涉疆等涉及中国核心利益问题领域保卫的支持，中国政府坚定支持巴基斯坦维护独立主权和领土完整。
Li Shenglin, the Minister of the Ministry of Transport of China also presented a speech, he said that China and Pakistan established the diplomatic relation 61 years ago and the two countries not only mutually understood and supported each other but also established great friendship and carried out multi-level cooperation. China is highly appreciated Pakistani’s positions on Taiwan, Tibet, Xinjiang and other related issues to Chinese core interests. Chinese government firmly supports Pakistan assert independent sovereignty and territorial integrity.
最后李盛霖部长表示，他非常感谢巴方的盛情款待，祝福巴基斯坦国泰民安，人民生活幸福，中巴两国友谊万古长青。
After that, Li Shenglin said he was very grateful for the hospitality of Pakistani and wished all Pakistan people peaceful and prosperous. The friendship between China and Pakistan will be eternal.
会上，巴基斯坦驻华大使马苏德•汗代表巴基斯坦总统为上海国际问题研究所所长、美国问题研究专家杨洁勉，中外运长航集团新疆有限公司总经理袁建民授予“伟大领袖星辰”勋章，以表彰他们对促进中巴友好关系发展做出的杰出贡献。
Masood Khan, Pakistan Ambassador in China awarded the Stars of Great Leader medal to Mr. Yang Jiemian, the Director of Shanghai Institute of International Studies and a Expert of American Studies, and Mr. Yuan Jianmin, the General Manager of Sinotrans & CSC Xinjiang Co., Ltd. on behalf of the President of Pakistan to honor their outstanding contributions to developing friendly relationship between China and Pakistan.
招待会上，巴基斯坦驻华大使馆还为来宾精心准备了具有当地民族特色的歌舞表演以及风味美食。
During the event, the Embassy of Pakistan also well-prepared the dance performances and cuisine with local ethnic atmospheres.
