On the afternoon of January 4,2022,Thailand’s Ambassador to China H.E.Mr.Arthayudh Srisamoot met with President of Home and Abroad News Press Mrs.Wei Yan and Dean of China Center of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan Mr.Cao Changlin. Both sides had a deep exchange on cultural and educational cooperation between China and Thailand.

Ambassador Srisamoot said that on the first workday of 2022 New Year, we gathered at the Thai Embassy to discuss the bilateral collaboration, which is very meaningful. The great development of Chinese science and technology has set a model for developing countries, and Thailand hopes to benefit in this regard.
韦燕总裁说，泰国是“一带一路”重要国家，“一带一路”在推动中泰各领域发展发挥着关键作用。泰国东方皇家理工大学同广州市大湾区现代产业发展研究院合作就是一个成功的案例。
President Wei Yan expressed that Thailand is an important country in the “Belt and Road Initiative”. The “Belt and Road” plays a key role in promoting the development of various fields between China and Thailand. The cooperation between of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan in Thailand and Guangzhou Institute for Industrial Development in Greater Bay Area is a successful example in educational cooperation of the two countries.
泰国东方皇家理工大学中国中心负责人、广州市大湾区现代产业发展研究院执行院长曹长林谈到，泰国东方皇家理工大学是一所注重研究与应用双向发展的综合性理工大学。泰国先皇拉玛九世普密蓬•阿杜德为了提高泰国的科技教育水平，通过合并几所著名的科技学院正式成立。自2005年起大学开设了从本科、硕士和博士研究生层次的学历学位教育。为落实“一带一路”发展倡议，由广州市大湾区现代产业发展研究院和泰国东方皇家理工大学合作，目前已联合培养近百位博士等高学历高层次人才。其中音乐教育、美术学、数字化转型与创新、管理学等专业特别受欢迎。导师不仅有来自北京大学、清华大学、浙江大学、中山大学、华南理工大学、暨南大学、北京邮电大学、中南大学、中央音乐学院、星海音乐学院、广州美术学院等著名高校和泰国著名高校的教授，还有中国科学院、中国工程院、国际欧亚科学院院士，使中泰之间的师资、学术资源、教育设备等得到充沛的沟通使用，联合培养具有国际视野的创新型高层次人才。
Dean of China Center of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan and Dean of Guangzhou Institute for Industrial Development in Greater Bay Area Mr. Cao Changlin said that Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan in Thailand is a comprehensive university of science and technology that focuses on the two-way development of research and application. Majesty King Rama IX Bhumibol Adulyadej aimed to further improve Thailand’s educational level in science and technology, he formally established the Rajamangala Institute of Technology by merging several well-known science and technology universities. Since 2005, the university has been offering degree education at all levels, including undergraduate, master and doctoral programs. In order to implement the “Belt and Road” cultural and educational development strategy, Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan in Thailand and Guangzhou Institute for Industrial Development in Greater Bay Area established a cooperation project. Currently, this project has been jointly educated nearly a hundred doctors and many high-level talents. Among all programs, music education, fine arts, digital transformation and innovation, and management are particularly popular. There are not only professors from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Jinan University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Central South University, Central Conservatory of Music, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and other famous Chinese and Thailand universities. Many academicians and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences also participate in those programs to fully communicate and use the teaching resources, academic resources and educational equipment to jointly cultivate innovative high-level talents with international perspectives.

He expressed his gratitude to the school in supporting Thailand’s education sector. He also said that China is a beautiful country with unique charms of humanities and natural landscapes. As Thailand’s ambassador to China, I will actively support Thailand’s cooperation with China in various fields.

At the end of the meeting, both sides reached a consensus on the next step to jointly hold the "2022' China-Thailand Cultural and Education Cooperation Forum" in Guangzhou to further strengthen the civil communication and cultural exchanges between the two peoples of China and Thailand with the key theme of “China-Thailand One Family”.
