It’s a great honor for me to be chosen as the News Person of the Year by Home and Abroad News Press. I am truly obliged for this great privilege and recognition given by the Chinese media. I would like to thank Home and Abroad News Press for honoring me with this award that has included me among other previous awardees, remarkable diplomat colleagues and outstanding individuals.
能够被中外新闻社评选为年度新闻人物，我深感荣幸。对于中国媒体给予我的这份殊荣和认可，我也深感殊荣。在此，我要感谢中外新闻社将我与其他重要的外交官同事和杰出人士一起授予这个奖项。
Here, I would especially like to emphasize the role of Home and Abroad News Press who has been working with much dedication to promote “News Diplomacy”, by building bridges between China and foreign countries over 20 years.
在此，我要特别强调《中外新闻社》的特殊角色。20 多年来，他们一直致力于推动 "新闻外交"，在中国和外国之间架起沟通的桥梁。
This award is also a token to Chinese medias who have devoted their attention to development and progress of bilateral relations between Serbia and China. My country has become more visible in Chinese media and present in the public discussion in China. Success stories of our cooperation, such as establishment of direct flights, concluding Free Trade Agreement and finalizing major projects of infrastructure connectivity etc, told by Chinese media, have emphasized a value of our relations and friendly ties. High-level visits, which have always been well-received by media here, have complemented the strengthening of people-to-people exchanges and mutual visits of journalists. All of these reflected positively on image of Serbia in China and vice versa.
这一奖项也是对关注塞中双边关系发展和进步的中国媒体的一种肯定。塞尔维亚在中国媒体和公众舆论中变得更加引人注目。中国媒体报道的我们合作的成功范例，如建立直航、缔结自由贸易协定、完成基础设施互联互通的重大项目等，都强调了我们两国关系和友好关系的价值。两国高层互访一直受到两国媒体的欢迎，这与两国加强民间交流和记者互访相辅相成。所有这些都积极反映了塞尔维亚在中国的形象，反之亦然。
As it was underlined during the recent visits of President of the Republic of Serbia H.E. Mr. Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister H.E. Ms. Ana Brnabic to China, political and economic relations between our two countries are at the highest level in our history with the established comprehensive strategic partnership and high level of mutual understanding. Media cooperation is an important element of our overall relations, that we also expand within international cooperation platform of BRI by being a part of Belt and Road News Network and relevant forums and exchange in the mechanism of cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Countries, as well.
正如塞尔维亚共和国总统亚历山大-武契奇阁下和总理安娜-布尔纳比奇女士最近访华期间所强调的那样，我们两国之间的政治和经济关系处于我们历史上的最高水平，建立了全面的战略伙伴关系和高度的相互理解。媒体合作是两国整体关系的重要组成部分，我们也通过加入 "一带一路 "新闻网和相关论坛，在 "金砖倡议 "的国际合作平台上进行拓展，并在中国与中东国家的合作机制中进行交流。
By acknowledging and receiving this award, I am certain that our future endeavors will encompass further strengthening of the exchange and cooperation between the public service media, press, news agencies, radio and television particularly in the domain of the new media, new business models, platform and technologies as well as professional trainings and media delegation exchanges, according to the Memorandum of Understanding on Friendly Exchange and Cooperation between the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Culture and Media of Republic of Serbia.
我相信通过此次获奖，我们未来的努力将包括进一步加强公共服务媒体、报刊、通讯社、广播和电视之间的交流与合作，特别是在新媒体、新商业模式、平台和技术领域的交流与合作，以及专业培训和媒体代表团交流，这些努力都是基于中华人民共和国国务院新闻办公室与塞尔维亚共和国文化与传媒部签署的《友好交流与合作谅解备忘录》而实现的。
Once again, I sincerely thank Chinese medias for their continuous support. This brings true encouragement and rise in our enthusiasm for doing the best and reaching more great heights through our joint media work.
With this note, I’ll end my speech with that we will be looking forward to more common achievements.Thank you!
