    “一带一路” 全球可持续发展论坛分为两个环节进行，论坛由联合国国际合作协调局副局长兼新闻部部长、中外新闻社总裁韦燕主持。邀请了四国驻华特命全权大使作主题演讲。他们分别是：斯洛伐克共和国驻华大使杜尚•贝拉阁下、泰王国驻华大使阿塔育•习萨目阁下、牙买加驻华大使丘伟基阁下、巴哈马联邦国驻华大使罗伯特•斯特林•匡特阁下。
    The “Belt and Road” Global Sustainable Development Forum included two sessions and hosted by the Deputy Director of the United Nations International Collaboration and Coordination Agency, President of Home and Abroad News Press Mrs. Wei Yan. Four foreign ambassadors to China were invited to deliver keynote speeches, including the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to China H.E. Mr. Dusan Bella, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to China H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, the Ambassador of Jamaica to China H.E. Mr. Antonia Hugh, the Ambassador of the Federal State of the Bahamas to China, H.E. Mr. Robert Sterling Quant.

    The Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to China H.E. Mr. Dusan Bella said that to transform our world and shift its development onto a sustainable and resilient path, the UN General Assembly adopted in September 2015 the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets. This is the Agenda of unprecedented scope and significance, which emphasizes a holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all. These universal goals and targets involve the entire world, developed and developing countries alike. They are integrated, indivisible and balance the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, social and environmental. 
    杜尚•贝拉阁下还从新冠疫情大流行导致的危害，提倡我们需要迅速采取行动，为全世界最贫穷和最脆弱的人群提供粮食和人道主义救济，确保健康的生活和促进所有人的福祉对可持续发展至关重要。
He also mentioned that because the COVID-19 pandemic caused the serious impacts in many aspects; therefore, we need to take a swift action to provide food and humanitarian relief to the poorest and most vulnerable people across the world, ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being at all ages is essential to sustainable development.

    泰王国驻华大使阿塔育•习萨目阁下在演讲中谈到，在中国共产党即将迎来成立100周年的时刻，我们在中国共产党发源地—上海探讨全球可持续发展，意义重大。百年来，中国共产党引领中国改革开放，坚持创新驱动和可持续发展，提出了包括“一带一路”在内的国际关系新体制，可以说是推动中国发展的新举措和全人类本着合作精神。
    The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to China H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot said in his speech that on the special occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, we are discussing global sustainable development issues in Shanghai, which is the birthplace of the Chinese Communist Party, this has great significance. For the past century, the Communist Party of China has led China's reform and opening up, insisted on innovation-driven and sustainable development, and proposed a new system of international relations including the "Belt and Road Initiative". This remarkable plan can be said to be a new measure to promote China's development and the new spirit of cooperation for all mankind.

    He also pointed out that with a global COVID-19 pandemic raging around the world, major international efforts such as the “Belt and Road Initiative” will help strengthen cooperation in responding to pandemic and other international challenges, such as financial crises, climate changes, the loss of global biodiversity and other international challenges.

    He expressed that with the ongoing vaccination efforts worldwide, Thailand is gearing up towards the full re-opening of the country. At the same time, we are pursuing the Bio, Circular BCG and Green, or BCG, Economy Model as the path to build back a healthier, greener and more inclusive economy as the pandemic subsides, and to reinforce sustainability in our people-centered economic growth and development. While China will strengthen cooperation on green infrastructure, green energy and green finance, and improve the BRI International Green Development Coalition, the Green Investment Principles for the Belt and Road Development, and other multilateral cooperation platforms, which promote sustainable development, Thailand's BCG Model will also focus on integrating bioeconomy, circular economy, and green economy with advanced technologies and innovations throughout the supply chains to boost competitiveness, enhance resource efficiency, transform waste into value, and mitigate impacts on the environment.

With advanced communication facilities and high policy transparency, the government encourages foreign capital to invest in Jamaica.

Mr. Robert Sterling Quant strongly promoted the pillar industries of the Bahamas-tourism and finance in his speech. The Bahamas has become an important offshore financial center in the world.

    The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are committed to achieving 17 sustainable development goals. Mr. Liu Zhenmin, the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, said recently that although the COVID-19 pandemic has erased decades of development achievements, this global crisis can also become an important opportunity to promote the transformation of the international community.
